My name is Alisa and I am certified body-mind coach hugely passionate about sharing the medicinal and transformational benefits of mindfulness and movement with others, following my own personal healing experiences that began over 10 years ago.
My work is grounded in the sensual values of presence, empathy, reciprocity and benefit sharing, authenticity, creativity, and collaboration. From a young age, I yearned for a sense of wholeness and a deeper connection with myself. In 2012, this longing led me to my first 10-day vipassana retreat, igniting my journey of self-discovery.
My healing journey has been long and winding but I’m grateful that it has awakened my inner wisdom and guided me to an embodied life, focused on living with presence (in moments of joy, sorrow, and everything in between), listening to and nourishing my body, mind, and spirit. It is one of my deepest loves, passions, and soul callings to support others in doing the same.
My passion for exploring and creating human connections through the wisdom of the body is rooted in my extensive studies and trainings. I hold an MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health, and have trained in a variety of embodied practices such as Body-Mind Centering, The Non-Linear Movement Method® (NLMM), yoga and Eastern philosophy, 5Rhythms dance, Non-Dual Tantric studies, Contact Improvisation, Authentic Relating, and Shamanism. In addition to my formal education, I am deeply committed to my own personal explorations and self-discovery.
My diverse range of trainings and experiences has allowed me to develop a unique approach to embodiment practices, one that emphasizes the importance of holistic integration and the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. Through my guidance, you will have the opportunity to explore and connect with the wisdom of your body, and to cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness, self-acceptance, and inner peace.
